On October 3, 2017, the Supreme Court of the United States heard oral argument in Gill v. Whitford, with Wisconsin Solicitor General Misha Tseytlin arguing for the state of Wisconsin. One of the most important cases of the term, Gill looks at the constitutionality of Wisconsin’s redistricting plan. Arguments for the Maryland gerrymandering case followed in Shapiro v. McManus. A decision in both cases is expected this June. Lawyers representing parties on both sides will discuss this important case.
